"Caprice!" she rose and cried out in stark surprise. Queenie hurriedly handed Caprice to her. She joyfully took Caprice into her arms. She had been sitting around all without so much as a bite of food and was rather exhausted by now. She hardly had the strength to carry Caprice and was worried she would drop the child, so she took great care to quickly put Caprice on the couch.
