Odell grabbed his shirt that was hanging at the edge of the bed and put it on before he got out of bed. Sylvia also got out of bed and tried to pick her clothes up off the floor. However, there was not a single intact piece of garment that she could find, even the pants that she had worn last night had a hole in it. While Odell was out of the room, she quickly snuck off to the closet next door to search for some wearable clothes. Fortunately, the closet still contained some of her old clothes.
