Chapter 29 – Chosen mates

Rosalie's POV Rosalie's heart pounded furiously within her chest. She was trying not to show off how happy she was. She could now finally claim Gabriel. All her dreams would come true tonight. Even though they didn't have a strong mate bond, their feelings for each other were intense. She saw attraction as a superficial feeling, but it was much more than that. She felt as though she had found a safe refuge in Gabriel's arms since he was her home. It was unbelievable how much their feelings had changed in just a week. She felt as though her feelings for Tristan had been a lifetime ago. She looked around carefully, as though searching for something. Gabriel wasn't there. Why was he arriving taking so long to arrive? Her eagerness to be in his arms once more was palpable. No more of those chaste bedtime hugs while they slept, this time, they were going to be naked. It was making her insane. Truly, she needed more of him. She became aware that it was mutual after his willingness to let go
