Liora's POV The news of the operation had been one of the few bits of good news I'd received in days. It lifted my spirits immediately. Dad had been suffering for far too long. He grew more and more frail each day, and on several occasions, I truly believed I might not see him again the next morning. But with Healer Raphael's treatment plan, he actually stood a chance at recovery. He didn't have to suffer anymore and could even be discharged and do whatever he wanted. Moreover, Dad was getting older now. The previous healer told me that if he wasn't cured soon, given his physical condition, he might not have been able to withstand conservative therapy.
