THE SOUND of my phone woke us up in the morning. I was about to get up and grab my phone, but something heavy locked my arms in their place.
I looked at my left side and saw Kelleon staring at me. His eyes are still sleepy but he's smiling for some unknown reasons. He's been sleeping in the guest room with me since the other day.
At first, I told him to just sleep in his room since it's much bigger and he might feel uncomfortable here. However, he insisted that he wants to sleep in the guest room. So, I told him that he can sleep here and I'll sleep on his room.
He was kind of frustrated, but I was just teasing him. He told me that he wants to sleep with me.
I was hesitant, but I like him sleeping beside me so I let it pass. Thankfully, nothing lewd happened from the day we slept together until now.

I WOKE up with the feeling of tiredness in my eyes. The light hurts my eyes as I tried to open them. I groaned when I felt a hand touched my face. I shook my head, trying to remove that hand from touching me.
"Mi amor," a familiar voice entered my ears. I tried to focus my eyes to ease the tiredness and bluriness that I'm experiencing.
"Cari&ntilde;o?" I called him. The things I can see are so blurry that I thought I'm going blind. Thankfully, after several attempts by blinking my eyes, my eyesight went back to normal.
His hand carressed my face. "Are feeling well, mi amor?" he asked. "Do you need anything? Does something hurt? Tell me, mi amor."

MY WORLD stopped when I heard what the nurse said. It's like my brain stoppid functioning and all that I hear is her voice echoing in my head. Her last statement keeps on repeating on my head and it started to mess me up.
Me? I didn't shot anyone! Never in my job that I shot a person! I don't even have the license to carry a gun!
Shot. The loud bang of a gun entered my ears. I looked around but I can't see anyone. It was dark. I heard screamings. I heard people asking for help. I heard their pleas and their cries.
My breathing started to get heavy as I try to look where the sound of the gun is coming from. I can feel my body shaking and my hands turning cold.
I heard someone calling my name, but I was stunned in my place. Suddenlty, the surroundings changed, and my eyes can only see the nurse and her furious eyes staring at me. She looked at me as if
