Inside the garden pavilion of the Hyland family. Giselle and Daniel were playing chess, and her witty remarks made him burst out laughing from time to time. As Amira walked by, she saw Daniel holding Giselle's hand and giving it a gentle pat. Unpleased with the scene, she went back to the living room and asked George, who was coming downstairs, "Oh no, is it possible that Dad has taken a liking to Giselle?" George immediately rebuked her in a low voice, "What nonsense are you talking about?" Amira snorted, "I wasn't making it up. I just saw Dad touching her hand!" When Iris came earlier, she made insinuations that a seductive woman like Giselle would eventually steal Dad's heart. Amira initially dismissed her as spouting nonsense. But upon closer inspection, it turned out she was spot on. George frowned and walked to the window, taking a closer look at the garden. He was truly worried. Just then, Maverick came down from upstairs. George turned to him and asked, "Where are you heading?"
