Chapter 11: A new dawn

He had sacrificed a lot just to let Pamela remain a member of his family. He had pleaded with Freya not to let the cat out of the bag. She told her daughter Emma the truth. He allowed Freya to enforce the marriage of Pamela to the Hayden's family, so as to let her leave the house and have peace. But now, everything was exposed. Lucas had betrayed her and didn't feel remorseful about it. She lost the trust of everyone. Pamela couldn't control her tears. She let it loose. She started sobbing uncontrollably. Romeo looked at her from the rear view mirror and sighed. How was he going to console her, he heard the words directed at her. She probably doesn't know she was not a true member of that family. So much hatred. How can she live with such reality now? If Mr Hayden was fine, he would have given her a better identity and helped her reclaim her lost self esteem. But now, who will help her, except Mr Hayden's parents. How can one experience so much disappointment in one day? Pamela
