387 A FATHER'S LOVE

Ethan stood by the window of his room, overlooking the scenery outside. Despite how focused he seemed to be, he wasn't seeing anything. He was lost in thoughts. Two things plagued his mind. First, the search for Aiden has proven futile, and second, the anxiety that comes with keeping Keisha away from her birth parents. For now, nothing seemed to be going the way it should. There was an emptiness that kept growing in him. The same feeling lurks in the air, filling the minds of everyone in the house. A fear of the unknown. The possibility is that Aiden will never be found. And what if Keisha is found? Ethan shakes his head. He knows he shouldn't be thinking about that. Everyone in the house is also busy enough with their paranoia, and adding his own to the pile won't bring any solution. But he just can't help it. The weight has kept getting heavier. He is slowly running out of ways to comfort Madison without going crazy from worrying himself. All he can do at the moment is hope.
