The sharp cries of my son echoed through the hospital room, each word cutting into me like glass. "You’re a bad person! You ruined everything! We were happy before you came!" The room had gone eerily silent, save for Jordan’s sobs. The walls of the sterile white hospital seemed to close in on me, suffocating me.
