#Chapter 297: The Ring

Enzo When Nina and I went to my father’s abandoned home, there was something I didn’t tell her. In fact, there was something that I didn’t tell her about when we were staying with the Alpha King in the werewolf realm. As soon as Nina and I marked each other, I knew that I needed to marry her. I didn’t know exactly when it would happen, but I knew that it would happen soon. And when we visited my father’s house, I found something that made me want to make it happen sooner rather than later. I went upstairs to look around briefly. Of course, the entire house was completely ransacked. I didn’t know what Lewis and his lackeys were looking for, if anything; it almost seemed as though they were just trying to humiliate my father and be disrespectful of him, of the place that they called home for years. It made me sick to see all of the broken furniture, scattered belongings, and shattered pictures. I never cared much for that house. Without my mother’s touch, it was a glo
