OLIVIA’S POV The loud cheers outside faded suddenly, as if someone had snapped their fingers and cut the sound like a switch. I knew it could only be him. Only he could change the chaos into calm with just a snap. I didn’t hear anything further but I knew that it was calm before the storm. The door to the hospital room opened slowly, deliberately—like a storm cloud rolling in on a clear day. Dominic stepped inside, his presence dark and commanding, every inch of him radiating restrained fury. Behind him, Beta Jason shut the door with a soft click and stood guard outside. Dominic’s eyes locked onto mine, and for a second, I allowed myself to hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, he came because he was worried. Because I was hurt. Because I mattered to him. But that illusion shattered the second he opened his mouth. “What the hell were you thinking, Olivia?” he snapped, his voice sharp and cold. “Why did you go to the hotel? Were you that desperate to defy my orders?” The words hit harder t
