[Lucian’s POV] “Violet!!” I screamed out. It felt like the world itself had stopped spinning. Time went still as my own heart crashed violently in my rib cage. My mind was on the verge of splitting into two. The area had fallen silent aside from the music that continued to play. All conversations stopped and every person in attendance turned their attention to me. I ignored their startled stares as I rushed over to Violet who collapsed to the floor.
