Josephine opened her eyes slowly. This was the deepest sleep she'd had in months since she'd been back on Metronine. Josephine felt her body much fresher.  She stretched and felt something weigh on her stomach. A hand crossed over her stomach and Josephine's body suddenly felt warm and her face flushed. She turned and saw Nicholas who was still sleeping. The man's face was serene and his breathing even.  Josephine felt various feelings raging in her heart, when she saw a silver necklace, with a pendant of a silver ring engraved with tendrils of gold leaves and diamonds in the center which was wrapped around Nicholas' neck.  Carlos also wears a ring like that but it's not made of silver, but wood. Then, could she be optimistic that six years ago, the man she slept with and later fathered her children was Nicholas, because of that silver ring?  Josephine moved, turned her body to face Nicholas and her hand reached out to brush Nicholas' hair that fell to his forehead. Nicholas had a very
