If there was one tiny flaw in Yarrick's work performance, it was that he tended to leave the office on time every evening. But that was only so he could visit Hailey. "Mr. Dawson, any idea why HR wants to see me? They're not gonna fire me, are they?" Yarrick had no clue what was going on, so he figured he might as well ask. "Honestly, I have no idea. The head of HR didn't say much. Just mentioned that she needs to speak with you about something. Don't worry, Yarrick. If they were thinking about firing you, I'd be the first to object. And even if they were planning something like that, they'd talk to me first." Ethan shook his head and patted Yarrick on the shoulder with a reassuring smile. It seemed he was genuinely pleased with Yarrick's work. Even though Yarrick had only been here a week, he had handled everything thrown his way with efficiency. "Alright. Got it, Mr. Dawson. Thanks." Ethan's words eased some of the tension in Yarrick's chest. If the company was to let Yarri
