      I stared at the window during the whole ride, which was not that long as my apartment is only 15 minutes away from the packhouse by car. As soon as I arrived home I took off my shoes and walked to my room, plopped down on my bed and dialed Elena.

  

      'I am ready,' I whispered as soon as the call connected. 'Well, before he left... Oliver actually proposed to me...' 'What!!       I was walking down the trail with my fingers interlaced with Xander's when we spotted the cutest and fluffiest white little bunny. By its size, I could tell it was not an adult. It ran to the bushes as soon as it saw us.

      They could feel each other's breaths on their lips. They almost kissed... Key word being almost... Nausea overcame her and she took off to the nearest restroom, which thankfully was close. As she was emptying the contents of her stomach she felt someone holding her hair. She cleaned her mouth with toilet paper and looked up to see Caleb kneeling beside her.

  

      "Are we really doing this now?" She said cocking one eyebrow.

  

      "What can I say? It seems like a worry about you?" He grinned.

  

      "What-" She was interrupted by another wave of nausea. She spend about 25 minutes there throwing her dignity in the toilet along with her food. Caleb stayed silent and just held her hair and rubbed her back in small circles the whole time. When she was done he offered a bottle of water. She washed her mouth and drank the rest of the bottle at once. "Feeling better?" he asked sweetly.

  

      "Marry me!" the drunk girl chuckled.

  

      "Sorry, teach. I do not do exclusives." He smirked, stood up and helped her up again.

  

      She pouted. "Pwease!! I love Caleb!" She threw her arms around his neck and he stiffened.

  

      "You are so lucky I do not take advantage of drunk girls. You are so gonna regret this tomorrow," he said smiling.

  

      She shook her head. "Nu-uh... I will still love you tomorrow. I always love you." She gazed at his eyes, which were now flickering between blue and black. He closed his eyes and sighed.

  

      "You are too cute when you are drunk, but then again, you are always beautiful." He pulled her out of the bathroom and helped her walk to her room. "Your room is the fourth on the right?"

  

      "Yes!" she said happily. When he opened the door and managed to make her sit on the bed, she grabbed him and pulled him making him fall on top of her. "Would you kiss me?" she asked staring into his eyes. Caleb sighed and jumped off the bed. He looked away trying to compose himself.

  

      "Wait until tomorrow and if you still feel like kissing me-" he turned around to find a fast asleep Anna. "You make a mess of me and then run away... That is not fair." He kissed her forehead and instantly tensed up. What am I doing? I never take care of girls, specially drunk girls, he thought. 

  

      But she is so beautiful and sexy. That red dress looks perfect on her, and she smells so good, his wolf said to him.

  

      Caleb frowned. Do you have a crush on our teacher now? The wolf did not answer and Caleb rolled his eyes.

      Caleb went to his room and woke up the girl he had met earlier. Thankfully, I let her stay in case I wanted more, he thought. Caleb tried to take his mind off Anna, but he could not. He gave up and closed his eyes, imagining it was her the one on top of him instead of some random girl. After Caleb was done, he did not wait for her to dress and threw her out of his room along with her clothes. He did not feel like waking up next to her.

      Anna woke up in her room in the pack house with a killer headache, her whole body sore. How did I get here? She felt her heart rate increase and swiftly checked the spot next to her in her bed and looked down herself to realize that she was alone and still dressed with the previous night's clothes. Oh, thank Moon Goddess. She relaxed. She stumbled out of the bed to notice a glass of water and ibuprofen on her nightstand. She took a sip of the water remembering that one time her drunk self thought it would be so funny to leave a glass of vodka for her sober self the next day. My drunk self is an asshole. This time it was water. She took the pill and drank the water eagerly. Anna walked to her bathroom and almost screamed at the sight of her face. She looked like an ugly raccoon. Anna got herself into the shower and let the water run down her body, making her feel calm. She closed her eyes and memories of last night flashed in her mind, specifically memories of Caleb holding her hair while she threw up and her telling him that she loves him. Someone kill me now! Please...

  

      'I regret nothing,' said Larentia.

  

      'Of course you don't... I on the other hand will never leave this shower ever again.'

  

      'Suit yourself,' she chuckled. Like on cue Anna's stomach growled. The smell of food coming from the kitchen hit her nose. Oh, that smells delicious... Marcy had said that some pack members cook breakfast for everyone every morning. Ok, I will go get breakfast and then to my apartment! She put on some comfy clothes and light makeup to not look like a living dead.

  

      When Anna got to the kitchen there were only a couple of teenage and young adult pack members having breakfast at the dining room. Some of them were eating at the kitchen counters. Oh! right, Marcy did mention than most of the wolves in the pack house were unmated, as mated couples preferred to get their own places.

  

      "Hello everyone..."

  

      "Oh Anna Hi!" Kathlyn pulled Anna in a hug. Kathlyn or Kathe, for short is an nineteen years old energetic and sweet she-wolf, who has become very fond of Anna after Anna comforted her one day she had found her crying. She is also one of the few female pack members who has not slept with Anna's mate-to-be. Just with that she won me over.

  

      Anna winced. "How are you doing? Kathe?" Anna put her right hand on her forehead and closed her eyes for a moment. Ugh my head.

  

      "I am good..." She looked at Anna from head to toe. "Wow girl you look great. Did you have a rough night?" she grinned.

  

      "I am not sure if you are being sarcastic right now, so I will take that as a compliment." She chuckled. "I won't keep you away from your food any longer."

  

      Anna went to get a plate with food and orange juice. Of course, there was Caleb with his friends and one girl on each side. One of them pecking his cheek and the other kissing his neck while he talked. Anna cursed her brother for teaching her manners. I could pretend I did not remember but I was not raised like that. He helped me out so I owe him a thanks. Anna put her food on the counter and walked up to the group.

  

      "Hello Mr. King..."

  

      He broke a kiss with one of the girls. "Hello, Anna. How are you feeling today?" The girl glared at Anna. I swear these girls need to learn to respect their elders.

  

      "Like shit... Anyway thank you helping me out yesterday and for the water."

  

      "Take it as my thanks for overlooking the supply closet incident," he said before turning to kiss the girl by his left.

  

      Of course he did not do it because he cares. What was I thinking? As Anna turned and walked to pick up her food, her cellphone began ringing.

  

      It was Elena. Anna picked up reluctantly.

  

      'Hey girl! How is my best friend in the whole world doing!' Elena yelled.

  

      Anna grimaced. 'Ouch. There is no need to yell. I am okay.' She leaned on the counter and began eating her food right there.

  

      'Bitch, What the fuck? you promised that you would stop partying, drinking and hooking up with random guys!' The whole room fell silent. These nosy kids.

  

      'I have a cold... A cold! What are you, my mom?' Now, they were chuckling. I hope you are all enjoying the show.

  

      'Yeah and I am a virgin. What happened? Do not spare on the details.' 'I am having breakfast at the pack house. I will call you when I get to my apartment. Talk to you later.' Anna took a sip of her orange juice.

  

      'Wait! You are probably going to receive his call soon so I need to tell you something.' She sounded conflicted.

  

      'His call? Who are we talking about again?' Anna arched one eyebrow and put her hand on her hip even though she knew Elena could not see her.

  

      'If you are holding something, eating or drinking liquids I am warning you now.' Anna gulped.

  

      'Okay, I am cool. Talk.'

  

      'Oliverisback...' she said too fast for Anna to understand.

  

      'What!? repeat that?'

  

      'OLIVER IS BACK AND HE IS ASKING FOR YOU!' Elena yelled. Anna didn't know if it was because of the hangover or the memories but a sharp pain extended though her whole body. She stood still in silence.

  

      'Anna? Are you there?'

  

      She chocked with her own saliva and began coughing hysterically, then her legs gave out and she sunk to the floor. She embraced her legs with one hand, resting her forehead on her knees, her eyes full of tears. Anna knew how much attention this had drawn so she took five deep breaths... one... two... three... four... five... She wiped her eyes and stood up to face the eye-widened teens. 'Just a second,' she mumbled before leaving the room and the curious gazes from the pack members. 'What is happening Anna? What are you keeping from me?' Anna was now outside of the pack house looking at the sky and kicking pebbles.

  

      'I cannot tell you everything now because people could still hear but it is bad. I fucked up Elena... I will go to my apartment and call you. I need to leave this place now. I will call you soon.'

  

      Tears were running down her cheeks and she put her hand on her chest and tried to even her breathing. "He came back... He wants to talk to me... He... he...." She choked up "My Oliver..." Anna calmed down enough to get back inside the pack house. She put on her best poker face and walked into the kitchen. Anna threw away the rest of her food and drink and took her wallet from the counter. She pulled out her phone and requested an uber. Fifteen minutes of wait. 

  

      A number she do not recognize was calling her. Anna stood there frozen just staring at the ringing phone in her hand. What if it is Oliver? I would die. Well, not die die, but still. 

  

      "You are supposed to slide the green circle on the screen," the comedian wannabe girl latching to Caleb's right arm said. Anna growled and glared at her with golden eyes, her wolf in control. The girl gulped. Only alpha wolves have golden eyes. Anna regained control and went back to staring at her phone. She exhaled loudly and answered the call.

  

      'Annita?' She hear a sweet voice say. Her heart shattered all over again. It is him... After three years.

      After she left eveyone stood there in an awkward silence, which was finally broken by Chris.

  

      "What the heck did just happen?" he yelled. "Her eyes! It is impossible... Did I see it right?"

  

      "Maybe it was the lighting?" Samuel shrugged.

  

      Some people nodded reluctantly. "The real question is who is that Oliver guy the other girl mentioned?" questioned Lucy. "Maybe her mate?" said Ashley.

  

      "That cannot be; We all heard Mrs. Jones. She said Ms. Amores has not found her mate yet," said a classmate.

  

      "Then why did she look like her whole had been flipped over?" said another classmate.

  

      "A lover?" another girl asked teasingly.

  

      Does she love someone else? Caleb felt a pang in his heart at the idea. No, what am I thinking? He shrugged the feeling off and shook his head. "Who cares about Ms. Amores love life? Her mate probably got tired of her and left her and that is why she says she does not have a mate. I can't say that I would be surprised." Caleb snickered and everyone broke in laughter, except for that nerd who greeted her earlier. She dropped her dishes in the sink and left.

  

      Caleb took Ashley and Lucy's hands and led them to his room. All he could think off is who could that Oliver guy be and why just the mention of his name has that effect on Anna. She never gives me more of a glance except in those few moments in which she looks at me with that troubled stare, which she quickly changes to a blank stare always. I hate how Anna always messes with my head and leaves; How she acts like she does not care whatever I do. But, then, gets drunk and tells me that she always love me.

  

      Nonetheless, just the mention of that guy's name affects her like that. She thanked me this morning. Does that mean she remembers saying she love me? Did she mean it?... Caleb sighed... not that I care.

  

      "Caleb! Why are you not kissing me back!?" Caleb opened his eyes to see a pouting Lucy. He looked down and realized he was already naked on his bed Ashley working her way down on him. He grabbed Lucy's head and pulled her into a rough kiss.

  

      I need to get away from those ridiculous thoughts, but one thought kept lingering... who the fuck is Oliver?
