"I didn't approve your resignation, so stop throwing a tantrum," Nathan said. A tantrum? So that was what he thought this was. Before Reyna could respond, Nathan continued, "I get it. You're upset. If you're having trouble accepting that I'm getting married, I'll just find a reason to send her out of town for a few days." He looked at her with those same affectionate eyes he used to give her. "In the meantime, I'll stay with you and help you adjust…" As he spoke, he even reached out his hand to touch her face, like everything was just a silly little fit she had thrown. Reyna couldn't hold back anymore. She flat-out laughed and pulled away. Her charm really must be something else if he was willing to ditch his fiancee just to spend time with her. However, she didn't need that. If she went back and picked the man who was never truly hers, it would be nothing but self-inflicted humiliation. She didn't know why, but just seeing that infuriating face of his made her feel disgusted
