Derrick finished his work very soon, so Melanie thought it was time for him to go home. However, he glanced at the time calmly and asked her to make him a new cup of tea instead. Was he expecting a guest? Melanie was a little traumatized by that, so she instinctively asked, "Mr. Quinton, the guest that you're going to meet is?" Without even looking up, he answered, "Don't worry. It's not Raymond." Melanie let out a sigh of relief before she went to the pantry. Right as she was making the tea, two secretaries walked in while discussing softly with each other. "Mr. Quinton has been acting crazy the past few days. He had been firing people every day. Is the company shutting down soon? Can they no longer afford to pay us?" one of the secretaries asked. "Let's not try to figure out what the boss is thinking. He has just fired those dead weight who didn't do their jobs and were taking up space by sitting at the office," the other answered. "But I heard some insider news that he's go
