Shannon turned her head in the direction of the voice. Standing before her was a fair man with neatly-cropped hair and a strikingly handsome face. His bright eyes brought her back to the past. It was Jacob Graham. They had dated briefly back in university, but he moved to study abroad a few months after they started dating. Their long-distance relationship didn't even last a week before they broke it off. Shannon didn't expect the next time they met to be under such circumstances. She and Jacob walked side by side along the streets. They then went into a convenience store, sitting down to eat instant noodles together. Jacob glanced at Shannon's side profile.
