Chapter 47

We were far away from Austin, Avery and Nick were here with us, and it's better it happens now so I don't have to worry when the challenge comes up. I quickly close the last bit of distance and grab Alannis from Avery. "We need to hurry." I say not really to anyone. I'm already losing most of my reason and I shake my head to try and come back. "Nick. Call Callie and let her know that Alannis's heat has started and that we're in Alaska." Nick seemed taken aback but Avery flung his arm across and hit him. "Hurry up and call." Nick nodded and pulled out his phone. I couldn't focus on anything but Alannis. She kept pulling at her clothes trying to take them off and she was running a fever. It felt like she was burning me wherever our skin touched. I keep pulling her hands away to keep her from taking her clothes off. However, it was getting harder to fight my urges. The longer it goes on the stronger the scent gets, the harder it is to resist.
