CHAPTER 30

The arrival of Ives, Hazel and Evans, was announced in the pack house. Ryan quickly made his way to the entrance, to enable him welcome Hazel before anyone did, and try to charm his way into her heart. His heart sunk deeper than a ship in wreck, as his eyes went to Ives and Hazel's entangled hands and the look she had in her eyes, while she was staring at him, as though he was the only man who existed in the whole world. He clenched his hand at his side into a fist, watching the smile that was pose to be for him only, shared to some other man. He was about making his way to them both, maybe punch Ives on the face for having the woman of his dreams in his hands, or try some other way to steal her back to his hands, but Betty beat him to it.
