CHAPTER 69

Pack house... Hazel's eyes widen in shock, as the Luna made her way out to the open for the first time in days. Her eyes glowed and her hair seemed a bit different than usual; straighter and trimmed maybe. But she looked beautiful no matter what Hazel thought, and when she smiled it was like nothing she had seen before. 'Hold on, did she just smile at me?" Hazel thought out aloud, as the Luna flashed her a smile, approaching both her and Ives Ives turned around, and upon seeing the Luna smiling he froze for a moment, his jaw dropping slightly. He quickly regained his composure, however, returning to his normal demeanour and shaking his head, looking back up at Hazel. 'It doesn't mean anything, don't think so much about it." He whispered to Hazel, looking straight ahead as the Luna got closer to them. Hazel nodded in understanding, knowing that he was right, but she couldn't stop herself from thinking it. And as the two of them stood there watching the Luna approach
