CHAPTER 79

Anna paced around her room angrily, hands gripping the ends of her hair tightly and shaking. Her eyes were wide, and filled with unshed tears, but her body language screamed frustration. She wanted to scream at him, yell and cry, but it all boiled down to the fact that she wasn't sure if he could hear or not through the thick walls. She hated how the mate bond worked, that despite all he did she missed him so much, even with the fact she knew he wanted his brother's mate and not her. He was hers. He was supposed to be hers! And now, because of whatever, he had his interest solely on someone else, and apparently he didn't want her as much as she wanted him to. She felt like a fucking mess. She had tried everything possible to get him back; she went from being seductive to desperate to begging, to threatening even. But nothing seemed to work out.
