Charles sat at the dining table, the divorce papers lying in front of him like a mockery from Emma. "Divorce? She dared to file for divorce?" he fumed. "What divorce? Who is divorced?" his mother asked. "Emma!" he shouted his answer. His hands trembled with a mix of disbelief and rage as he turned to his mother, who stood nearby, her expression a mixture of shock and concern. "Emma filed for a divorce!" Charles exclaimed, his voice filled with a mixture of horror and anger. He thrust the papers towards his mother, hoping she could explain this sudden turn of events. His mother's eyes widened in shock as she took the papers from him, basically ripping them from his hands. She scanned the document, her breath catching in her throat as she realized the ridiculousness of the situation. "Emma sent divorce papers?" his mother muttered, more to herself than to Charles. "And she's suing on the grounds of domestic violence?" "Domestic Violence? Isn't it just a few hits? Did she dare cla
