CADELL “Are you okay?” I asked, holding Evolet closely while hanging on to a window away from the throne room. She was shivering in my arms because of her wolf, but managed to nod with a smile. “Yeah, I’m good,” she responded, lifting her head to look into my gaze. Her eyes were still glowing because of her unfixed necklace. There was no time to attend to it, since Chriselda’s guards came rushing inside to search the room. But my Evolet’s beautiful eyes… Goodness! I might get lost in again if I stare for too long. I need to control my feelings until the time is right. Then I can have my Eve to myself without having to hide anymore. “Hey,” She called, lifting her brow at me with a smirk spreading to the side of her lips. “Why are you staring at me like that?
