CHAPTER 12. MY MATE IS WITH A CHILD RYDER Seconds passed, and she was still here, not disappearing or vanishing like the mirage I thought she was. I was slowly taking the risk of accepting that she was indeed real.  With that acceptance, came a surge of emotions.
