It was one of the reasons she was so cautious about her feelings towards Barry. She didn’t think Barry was anything like Adam, but getting involved with the father of her charge was just not a good idea. She wasn’t worried that Barry would force himself on her, not like Adam had tried to do, but she worried that it would be little more than a fling for him.
