Chapter 175

Abby climbed into the bath and slipped, going under the water, some of the bubbles going up her nose and causing her to cough and splutter. That wasn’t so fun and it scared her a bit, but she knew she had to have her bath before she could get dressed. She washed herself the way Becky had taught her and then climbed out and dried herself. She didn’t pull the plug on the bath because she didn’t like the sound it made. She climbed up on the small stool in front of the mirror and brushed her teeth, humming the song Becky had sung to her so she knew that she had brushed for long enough. When she was clean and dry, she skipped into her bedroom and got dressed. It was hard to get her tights on, but she managed to do it, and then her leotard over the top. She pulled her ballet shoes on and her skirt luckily had an elastic around the waist because she wasn’t good at tying the strings.
