#Chapter 106 – Unexpected Visitor

Erin’s POV “Try not to move too much!” The nurse said as I attempted to sit up in bed. My heart was racing at lightning speed against my ribcage, making me want to throw up. I wasn’t sure I would be able to hold in the contents of my stomach. Where the hell was Gavin? What were these rumors about spreading across the hospital? Was Gavin responsible for this? “Where’s…” My voice trailed off as sharp pain coursed through my throat, causing me to wince. “It’s probably better if you didn’t speak for right now,” the nurse said with a timid frown. “Let me get the doctor to take a look at you.” I didn’t want the doctor, I wanted to know where Henry and Gavin were. But when I tried to speak again, I was met with a round of painful coughs instead. Tears wedged in my eyes as pain coursed through my body. I lay my head back down and waited for the doctor to make an appearance. “Glad to see you are awake,” the doctor said with a fond smile as he came around my bedside. “Let’
