Chapter 17-3

"So what's going to happen today?" He sat up and rubbed the remaining sleepiness out of his eyes. "You're going to stay here today, where I know they're safe, while I take care of the driver from last night." I rubbed my hand over my belly. "Is he already dead?" Mikko looked at me for a second before getting out of bed...naked again. "Yes. He's dead already." Mikko disappeared into the bathroom. Was that the first man Mikko had killed since knowing about the babies? How did he get used to the idea of taking someone else's life? Did it get easier over time?
