Both of the children screamed wildly as they were checked out by the two women. It was worrisome. "No one's hurting your children Mikko." Jared said quietly enough that only we could hear. "Go check out your children. Emily's fine here with me." I bent down and kissed Emily's hand once before going to check out the babies. Everything was going fine until I heard Jared curse. It wasn't often that he was caught doing so, making it instantly alarming. It didn't register with Emily until I was already walking towards Jared to see what was happening.
