I brought some snacks and handed them out to the kids, who were of all different sizes. Then, I introduced them to Beanie.
It seemed that kids generally liked cats and dogs, so they weren't as hesitant around me, especially with Beanie around.
I noticed the oldest child here was about 12 or 13, and the youngest looked to be two or three years old. Most of them had some form of disability. Even if they had the chance to attend school, it would be at a special education facility.
After the kids got their snacks, they eagerly took Beanie and ran off to play.
I helped Mrs. Stone's driver organize the books, labeling them and cataloging them like they would be in a library.
