The man, who had been asleep just moments ago, snapped his eyes open. Spotting the girl trying to sneak away, he reached out and pulled her right back into his arms. "Be good. Just stay a bit longer." Summer Knight's heart thudded uncontrollably, and her cheeks instantly turned hot and rosy. "Big brother, I need to shower and get changed. I can’t let anyone see me like this." Alexander Barron glanced down at her, the corners of his mouth curling up as he chuckled softly. "You were yelling so loud last night, not the least bit worried about people hearing. And now you’re acting all shy? Huh?" His deep, husky voice made her face turn beet red. "That’s all your fault!" He buried his face in the crook of her neck, his voice low and raspy. "Yeah, yeah, all my fault… I shouldn’t have pushed you so hard last night." Those words only made Summer even more embarrassed. Truth was, she wasn’t totally innocent either. She definitely didn’t say no very firmly last night. "You’re always teasing me!"
