Chapter 1937 Are You Threatening Me

In the blink of an eye, Ezer, who sat in the corner, appeared in front of the window in a flash. He could clearly see the explosion happening on the street not far away from his vantage point. Ezer understood it was a fight between two Demigods. The explosion was the effect of the terrifying vitality energy that leaked out during the battle. The power of the Demigod was the strength that every martial artist wished for. On the street, Gideon used all of his strength to fight, and yet he failed to last three moves under Tyr’s suppression. Tyr let out a heavy slash against Gideon’s chest. Blood gushed out like a spring well from his wound in an instant. He asked, “Are you still planning to hide your unique skill?” Tyr did not go to great lengths to suppress Gideon from the start. He would have killed Gideon with his attack if he wanted him dead in the first place. Gideon had only recently become a Demigod, which meant his strength was weak before a Demigod like Tyr, who killed veteran Demigods like butchering livestock. Tyr didn’t kill him because he wanted to force Gideon to use his unique skill. Obviously, the Glinting Tome has something to do with that skill. Gideon was extremely vigilant. He never wanted to use his unique skill from the beginning. Even though he was constantly on the receiving end of Tyr’s attacks, he planned to use his vitality energy to fight back forcibly. Tyr’s strength, unfortunately, was far greater than his. Gideon lacked the power to confront him with force. He was eventually forced into a desperate situation after receiving a slash from Tyr. Tyr's blade had a brilliant golden glow to it. He gave a half-smile to Gideon while warning, “If you don’t use your unique skill now, you will die.” “Arghhhhhhh...!” At this point, Gideon, who had always been as cold and ruthless like a ghost, let out a crazy roar. All of the whites in his eyes vanished instantly, and his eyes turned black immediately.. His body was engulfed in a black aura, which was several times stronger than his aura had been previously. “Arghhhhhhh...!” Gideon’s bizarre growl echoed throughout the night sky/ Chaos appeared behind him in the blink of an eye. At this point, all of the buildings behind him became distorted. Tyr couldn’t help but feel excited when he saw this scene. This guy was finally going to put his unique move to use. The chaos that surrounded Gideon grew larger and larger. Finally, the night sky began to light up with a white glow. Some hazy scenes appeared behind him. Those hazy scenes were strikingly similar to mirages, but they weren’t quite as clear. Everything appeared to be hazy. It was unclear if it happened because Gideon lacked his strength as he couldn't clearly and concretely depict the scene. Some of the hazy images appeared to be high-rise buildings, others to be the sea and starry night sky. Anyway, everything seemed so vague. However, no matter how hazy those images appeared to be, the power hidden behind the mirage must never be underestimated. Tyr could tell the power contained in Gideon’s body was much stronger than it had been previously. He heard Gideon let out another miserable growl. Thousands of troops and horses gushed out from the mirage behind him. It came with majestic momentum as the forces surged all the way toward Tyr's direction. “Well met!” Tyr also erupted with a roar. His body shook violently, causing the golden runes to circulate around his body instantly. Tyr raised the blade in his hand immediately and frantically slashed at his surroundings. The two violent forces collided once more, but only for dozens of seconds this time. Tyr leaped into the air after a while. As he flew through the air, he relied on the vitality energy under the soles of his feet to propel him forward. Tyr was going to show up behind Gideon this time. The hazy scenes that he showcased appeared to be from a hazy world. Now, all Tyr had to do was fly up there and smash the world to bits. “Chaotic Judgement!” Tyr unleashed the Seven Blade Form’s second weakest trick, which also happened to be the strongest trick Tyr could unleash at the time. When this move was executed, it would send the living to the world of the dead. Boom, boom, boom! A series of explosions launched into the sky. Tyr had completely destroyed the scene in which Gideon had manifested. Gideon’s body was densely covered in blood marks the moment Tyr landed. His pupils were filled with fear and reluctance, and the blackness in his eyes had vanished. “Gideon has lost the battle!” Ezer stood in front of the building’s window while gazing out excitedly at the street. He couldn’t notice Gideon’s embarrassment, but he did see Tyr fly into the air and destroy Gideon’s mirage. At this point, Ezer was convinced that Gideon had been completely defeated by Tyr. The building stopped shaking. Emmett and the others quickly strode up to the window. “Has Mr. Summers won?” “Yes, he won! Our crisis has been resolved!” Gideon knelt on the ground with a loud thud on the street. His blood stained the ground slowly. It was unclear what was going through his mind at the time. He tasted the supreme power brought to him after entering the Demigod realm, which made him insufferably arrogant. He had not anticipated losing a battle so quickly. Tyr did not murder Gideon. Instead, he approached him and asked, “Tell me, where is the Glinting Tome?” “I have no idea what you're talking about,” Gideon spoke with a hoarse voice as if his vocal cords had been burned by charcoal. “Don’t play dumb with me! The book was auctioned off a year ago to a businessman,” Tyr revealed. “His family was then exterminated, and the book was taken away. It’s the Jackals’ doing, right? “You are born with the finest Sapphire Fate. It allows you to use the cultivation techniques in the book to quickly advance to the Demigod realm. I’ll consider sparing you if you hand over the book!” When Gideon raised his head, he looked extremely hideous. He said with a shrill laugh, “Tyr, you already have two books with you. How could you covet the third book? Why are you so greedy? You are not allowed to have this book.” “Is that so? Are you not afraid of death?” Tyr asked while raising his blade and placing it on Gideon’s neck without hesitation." “Hmph! You don’t have the guts to kill me,” Gideon said coldly. “You’ll never find out where that book is if you do.” “Are you threatening me?” Tyr dug the blade into Gideon’s neck immediately. “Since I’m certain that the tome is with the Jackals, I can always find a way to retrieve the book from their hands. On top of that, what I detest the most in my life is being threatened by others!”
