Eleanor’s POV: I rubbed the back of my head, glaring—but keeping my cool—in front of my beloved Harvey. Instead, I stomped hard on James’s foot. He yelped and hopped on one leg. “You psycho! No one’s ever gonna want to marry you!” “Oh, please. If no one wants to marry me, I’ll just marry you.” James’ baby face turned crimson. “Who the hell said I wanna marry you?” I rolled my eyes. “Then stop poking at me all the time!” Harvey watched us bicker like kindergartners, the corner of his lips twitching with amusement. “Where’s Scarlett?” “Oh, right.” I suddenly remembered Scarlett hadn’t come down yet. “She’s just changing… no way it takes this long,” I muttered, then looked at Harvey. “Hang on. I’ll go check.” Harvey gave a small nod, but couldn’t help adding, “How’s she been lately? Is her health okay?” My eyes flicked away nervously. “Yeah, she’s doing fine. Eating well, sleeping well…” I was not about to bring up Scarlett’s recent hospital stay… that would’ve been asking for trouble. Bu
