I cuddled his arms that were wrapped around me and closed my eyes peacefully. "Thank you, Faris." I said. "For what?" He asked, kissing my head. "For waiting for me" I smiled, turning around to face him. "Of course I would wait for you." He said. "No, seriously; thank you for really waiting for me, I finally know." I said. "What do you mean?" He said with confusion. "You promised to wait for me and you did." I nodded. "Yeah but—" "And I can't be any more grateful for that." I smiled, kissing him on the lips. Staring into his eyes, I saw the internal battle he was having with himself on discovering what my point was and what he should say back.
