Rowena was startled and was about to scream when the man covered her mouth with his hand. "Don't make a sound. It's me." Rowena broke free and ran to the side while glaring at him. "Mr. Louis, you're behaving out of line. I'm your stepmother!" The man looked like he was around 28 years old, and was dressed in luxurious robes.
