Chapter 43 This Cannot Be Happening

Nancy plastered a smile on her face and calmly took her seat. "Thank you, Ms. Holt." Her calm tone and unshaken composure reminded Sabrina of Sebastian. "Things are getting more and more interesting," Sabrina mused. Sabrina picked up the serving tongs and placed a portion of salad onto Nancy's plate. "Here, have some of this." Evelyn, who was a short distance away, witnessed this scene. She was so jealous that she tightened her grip until her nails almost broke the skin of her palm. She couldn't afford to lose to Nancy. Regaining her composure, she carried her tray over. "Ms. Holt," she greeted politely before looking at Sabrina. "Have you gotten the chance to review the proposal I submitted yesterday?" she asked eagerly. Hansel walked over and stopped just behind Evelyn, as though to show he was here to back her up. He shot Nancy a look, his expression unreadable. Then, he turned to Sabrina and said lowly, "Ms. Holt, on top of the existing terms, we're willing to sweeten the
