Chapter 352
Leonard’s brows furrowed, though a faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips. He shook his head with exasperation as he took in the scene. The so-called "drunkards" at this table—normally dignified and composed—were now relying on him to get them home, one by one.
A soft, chime-like ringtone sounded from Eleanor’s pocket at that moment. She blinked, eyes widening slightly, and instinctively fumbled to grab her phone. Her efforts, however, were futile; her usually adept hands struggled in her slightly tipsy state. Eleanor’s cheeks flushed a warm, peachy hue, and she let out a soft, childlike murmur, “I... I can’t find my phone…”
Leonard couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight. The sharp, intelligent Eleanor he was used to seeing now appeared so utterly charming in her momentary vulnerability. Her hand hovered near her pocket, clumsily grasping at the fabric but never quite reaching inside. She looked like a small child, unable to find a lost toy, pouting with mild frustration.
