CHAPTER 43 Battle Between Two Men Lila.  I didn't know what I was supposed to feel. But I could feel my whole body stiffen.  “What?”  I asked Lucien, not even attempting to move.  “I think you have a wardrobe malfunction.” I shook my head. “That's not possible. The dress was sewn twice around for that reason. I didn't want anything that was going to bring a disgrace, or give people the impression that my clothes were made of low quality.” “You can take my coat, Lils. Not everyone has to know what's wrong.” I nodded, looking up at him appreciatively. I held the coat, slipping my hands through the sleeves. His perfume that he used through all these years slipped through my nostrils, gaining all my attention. It brought back memories that I didn't want. Memories that made me remember the feel of his lips on my skin.  “I'll find Hannah,” I said, walking away before he could say anything else. He gave me a small nod, still following me around.
