CHAPTER 49 Lucien I headed upstairs, to her former room, as I shut the door behind me. Almost everything remained the same. Going there was only going to bring more tears to get eyes. Her mom barely touched the room.  “Lila?” I called out, but there was no response. I walked into her bathroom, being greeted by the silence. Just as I was about to head out of the room, I heard slight sobbing that pulled me back.  I walked gently to where the sound was coming from. My hands were wrapped around the door handle that led to the balcony of her room. I pushed it open, and saw her on the floor, with her knees brought to her chin as she sobbed softly.  “Lils?” I asked, and she looked up immediately, wiping the tears off her eyes.  “Go back to your wife,” she said, and I held myself from flinching.  “You really don't expect me to leave you like this, do you?” I asked, and she no longer answered me as she stared at the beautiful view in front of her.  I sat down beside her, taking my hands
