Now that a lawyer was handling the divorce, Juliet had only one thing left to do—draw a clean line between her relatives and Greene Corp.
She called Jolene to ask about their relatives' whereabouts before taking a cab straight to her uncle's house.
Her uncle, Gwendal Stone, lived in an old residential complex on the outskirts of the city. Juliet had just arrived when she heard the clamor of people playing cards and talking loudly inside.
Pushing open the slightly ajar door, she walked into a house thick with cigarette smoke. Two poker tables were set up right in the middle of the living room, and more than ten relatives from the Stone family were there, their faces flushed with excitement.
