Wayne was slightly taken aback. He thought to himself, "A promise? What promise?" He thought about it for a long time. It wasn't until he saw Eddie carrying the diffuser into his bedroom that he realized what it was. Back when they were in Gromore, Eddie had promised to trust Nydia. But… He scratched the back of his head, wondering if trusting her was really worth the risk. There seemed to be no need to put his own life on the line for that. However, Eddie had made his decision.
