She and Forrest were thinking the same thing-both wanted to save the ones they cared about. Teaming up might be their best shot. On her own, it'd be tough for her to reach out to Ariella. If Lucian found out, he'd only speed up the divorce. Forrest hadn't gone to see Ariella either, even though he was at home. He probably had his own reasons. But if they worked together, inside and out, they could probably move the wedding plans along much faster. Once Ariella's side of things settled down, Lucian wouldn't really have a reason to rush the divorce. "If you know that much, why haven't you brought her back yet? You think Vickers is the type to let another man steal his girl and just sit there?" Fiona smirked coldly. She was poking at him, trying to push him towards cooperation. "For real? Are you the kind of woman who's cool with her husband sleeping around?" Forrest shot back in that same biting tone. Two can play this game. Their little alliance might turn out to be pretty interesting.
