Chapter 26

Just as she was lost in her thoughts, Lucian stepped out of the car. "Dylan!" he barked. Dylan quickly stubbed out his cigarette and rushed over. Lucian slid into the passenger seat and said, "Drive slow. Take her home first." Ariella was curled up in the backseat. The car was spacious enough that she could lie down fully by herself. Right now, with her body curled tight, she looked even smaller. She was completely drained-physically and emotionally. Lucian had told Dylan to go slow, maybe thinking speed would make her feel worse. But she couldn't understand or care about his worry anymore. All she knew was that he'd claimed her in the most humiliating, brutal way. In that tiny space, he'd used every position to force her to give in. She hadn't done anything wrong. His punishment came out of nowhere-violent and cruel. Before getting out, he'd straightened her dress. But the underwear beneath had already been torn away. She was bare down there. The thought made her shrink even more, hug
