What happened? Soon after, Lucas' phone rang. When he answered, I moved closer and could hear a voice on the other end. "Gabriel's attorney sent me the termination draft. Have you arrived at his company yet? Don't you know how important our partnership with the Dutton Group is? I left this project entirely to you, but you keep messing up! Let me tell you, if you don't fix this, you might as well quit now!" Nathan Sanders' furious voice sounded from the phone. It was clear he was boiling with rage. Lucas' expression darkened further, but he didn't have the guts to lash out at his own father. I knew Lucas wasn't afraid of Nancy because he was after her shares and power, but he was certainly afraid of Nathan, who was hot-tempered. The most important thing was that Nathan could actually kick Lucas out of the company anytime he wanted. Thus, I saw Lucas' face flushed red in frustration, but he was forced to respond calmly. After hanging up, he hit the steering wheel to vent his anger.
