Thalia knew Alden's temperament too well. A petty man like him would never let Tyren go, even if she apologized. Besides, Josephine and Kiera were the ones who ganged up on her first. Why should she apologize? They were the ones who should apologize. Alden's tone was impatient. There was even a hint of suppressed anger. "Thalia, that's enough. You're being unreasonable."
