"Eli," Gabriel acknowledged him, ever the talkative one. "Hey, Eli! It's good to see you again!" I greeted warmly. Eli, as usual, genuinely looked pleased to see me. "It seems the pack hasn't fallen apart under your care," Gabriel remarked, causing a slight smile to form on his Beta's face. "Told you I'd take good care of it." He folded his arms in front of his chest, causing the muscles to bulge. Eli may not have been as large as Gabriel but he was close, and quite imposing, even for a Beta. "Anyways, I know you just got here, but there were some things I wanted to go over with you." Eli looked over at me guiltily as he spoke as if he were apologizing for distracting my Mate. "How important?" Gabriel asked tersely. "Pretty important…" Eli's eyes flickered to me. I frowned, not knowing what they could be referring to. "Fine. Skylar, if you want to go put your things away, I'll meet you there."
