Chapter 135 Author's POV Dorian knew he was asleep but it didn't feel like that. He could feel himself, but he couldn't at the same time. He tried to grab onto something but there was nothing to hold on to. He couldn't see, couldn't breathe, couldn't move. He opened his mouth to scream but nothing came out. His mouth opened but there was no sound. Finally he could see a glimmer of light and then he felt it, the water rushing into his mouth. Terror gripped his heart tightly. He needed help. There was nothing to hold, the water poured and then it stopped. He was still there but he was underwater now. There was nothing he didn't do. He pushed against the waves of water. His feet pimped under the water, struggling to get out but he was still. And then he could feel it. Like he was leaving his body but he could see himself. His chest rose and fell, he could feel the wetness but the fear was gone. The terror of death had left and even though he lay there, there was no fear or angst.
