Jessica cupped her face in both hands, feeling the heat rushing up her cheeks. She glanced at herself in the mirror, finding her cheeks completely red. Did Zachary really wash her stained underwear? There wasn't much of a mess on them, so she hadn't planned to throw them out. She had just bought them a couple of days ago, and it wasn't like it would be easy to find the right fit here in Sylvaria. Tossing them would've been a waste, or so she thought. Now, she had to deal with the embarrassment of having a big shot like Zachary—whose hands usually signed contracts and counted money—washing her underwear! She changed her clothes, crept out of the bathroom, and quietly climbed back into bed. The moment she picked up her phone, she saw a message from Joshua, sent the night before. "Please, for the love of God, make up with him. If you don't, I'll be pulling another all-nighter tonight." Make up with him? How? With her body?
