Shrugging, I let my fingers trail from the soft skin of her hips down her wrists and to her hands where I laced my fingers through hers, not missing for a second how good it felt. Pulling her gently I moved us back over to the couch. "Hear me out, okay?" I said, hoping she couldn't hear the silent begs inside of me. "Just give me one chance." Right at that moment I wasn't sure whether she was going to listen or punch me in the face. She didn't say anything and neither did I.
